I'm a resident of Oak Park, California. I moved to Oak Park in July of 2001 with my wife and two children and immediately fell in love with Oak Park's family environment and small town atmosphere.  

Once my family and I settled in, I began attending meetings in Oak Park, like the monthly MAC meetings, the School Board Meetings, Park Meetings, Local Fund Raising Meetings and Homeowners Association Meetings.

I found that most residents did not know what was happening in Oak Park.

After talking with hundreds of residents I decided to create a website/newsletter that could fill the need for the community so all residents could be informed, communicate, help decide on the different issues facing Oak Park. It would be one place to go to find out anything happening in Oak Park.

Over the years I have added additional information to the website to include... Community videos, local business promotions and LIVE real estate data showing homes for sale and rent currently in Oak Park. 

Today, I can still say Oak Park Update is still the most complete website dedicated to Oak Park California. 

I started this website almost 10 years ago because I saw the need. I have continued to fund, maintain and improve this community website since the beginning because it provides value to thousands of residents who use it daily to get information. I will continue as long as I live in Oak Park.
